Legal information

Legal notice

This page identifies the publisher of the Concilim service, its contact details and the applicable responsibilities.

1. Publisher of the service

Concilim is a service in beta, operated by the project's founder, a natural person domiciled in Switzerland. No company has been incorporated to date. The final legal form and its UID number will be given here as soon as it is entered in the commercial register.

The operator's full contact details are provided on request through the contact page. The service is currently provided free of charge, without invoicing.

2. Hosting

The application and the data are hosted in Geneva, by Infomaniak Network SA. Emails go through Resend, in the United States. If an AI is chosen in a case, the texts it reads go to the provider named on the privacy page, in the country named there.

The precise list of technical processors is given in the privacy policy.

3. Intellectual property

The source code, the graphic elements, the documentation and the Concilim brand are the property of the publisher. Any reproduction, representation, modification or adaptation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Content produced by users (descriptions of a disagreement, private exchanges, agreement letters) remains the property of its authors.

4. Limitation of liability

Concilim is an online tool where two people write an agreement themselves. Each proposes sentences, chosen from a menu that is the same for everyone; a sentence enters the agreement only if both accept it. No one at Concilim takes part in the negotiation.

Concilim advises no one, does not examine your situation in the light of the law, does not say who is right and decides nothing. It replaces neither a lawyer, nor a mediator, nor a conciliation authority. The parties alone remain responsible for the content of their agreement and for signing it.

The publisher makes its best efforts to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the service, without any guarantee of result. The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of an agreement signed between two parties through the platform.

5. Electronic signature

You sign with a simple electronic signature: your consent given online, recorded with the date and time. It is neither advanced nor qualified within the meaning of Swiss and European law. A clause that the law makes subject to a form β€” a document signed by hand, an authentic instrument β€” is made in that form.

The letter carries a fingerprint and a public reference that allow a third party to verify its existence, its date and its integrity: it is an admissible evidentiary record.

6. Suitability filters

The service is not suited to situations of violence, coercion, serious imbalance between the parties or danger to children, nor to any situation that requires the immediate intervention of a qualified human professional or of a public authority. In such cases, users are invited to contact local emergency services directly (police, social services, child protection authorities).

An agreement obtained under threat does not bind the person threatened, but it is not cancelled on its own: that person must assert it, within a time limit set by law.

7. Applicable law, jurisdiction

This notice is governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to the use of the service falls under the competent Swiss courts, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions of the user's local law.

8. Updates

This notice may be updated. The latest revision is dated 12 October 2026. Users with an account are informed of substantial changes by email.

Reference document β€” provisional version. This text will be completed and validated by legal counsel before the service opens to the public.
